Strange Activities Of Deer Island

In the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Biloxi, Mississippi you will find Deer Island. It’s the home to a plethora of stories and tales, some even dating back as far as the early 19th century and they continue to be told to this day. Fisherman who utilize the island as a base during all kinds of fishing trips often report many of the sightings.

For example, they have long told of the Firewater Ghost, who is sometimes referred to as the Ghost of Blue Fire, which is known to be a ball of blue fire that can often be seen speedily moving from underneath the surface of the water.

Many researchers in the modern age have also likened details similar to sightings of what they believe to be a UFO.

A skeleton that’s headless is also said to roam this island. Legends have stated that this skeleton is the skeleton of an unfortunate pirate who had been decapitated by his fellow crew so he would be able to forever watch over their loot on the island.
