It isn’t always easy being a successful female celebrity. You’re almost always busy, whether you are tether to table readings running your lines over and over again for your TV show or shooting films on location for 6 months or even longer. That’s why some celebrities choose to focus on their work and tend to put having a family off.

But, aside from that, a remarkable amount of celebrities have went on to have babies when they were either much older are far too young without any real repercussions. For example, Kate Hudson and Britney Spears, who both were mothers by the time they were 24, their careers and popularity did not lag during, before or after their pregnancies.

However, multiple celebrities have waited until they were well into their 40s to actually start a family of their own. One being Janet Jackson, who was able to have a healthy child at the age of 50! How is this even possible?

In a lot of ways, celebrities may be different from us, with all of their fame and wealth, but they are still human beings at the end of the day, and a star is, say, 46, and utilizes her own eggs in IVF, a woman meeting these criteria sadly does not have a very good chance of becoming pregnant.

So here are 5 of the oldest celebrity mommies who are well past their primetime for babies and 15 of the youngest. What is your opinion?
