Any crime that is considered both brutal and vicious is hard for anyone to stomach. Most people have time grasping the fact that some people can kill another person, even in situations where they almost are forced to do this. And finding out that any pleasure came from it or torture is even more sickening. It’s never easy trying to figure what could drive someone to commit such a vicious act. We’re able to blame it on their upbringing a lot of the times, maybe they were exposed to too much violence? Maybe they were abused while growing up? Or maybe the developed some sort of psychological disorder.

Some crimes are committed and looked at as acts of lust or passion. Others are committed due to ongoing conflicts or jealousy and have been built up over years and years. Although murder is something that will never be acceptable, some people find investigating things like this and figuring out why evil people are the way they are interesting. It’s only all the more confusing to us when we find out a child is involved.

Out of all individuals, children are usually considered to be the most innocent and pure. Many of us would like to believe that everyone is born good and people only do bad things due to their inability to handle or process traumas that we’ve had to go through during one time or another in our lives. But you have a child who is acting out on such violent and brutal acts thoughts, there is no merit. What would make a child go as far causing such harm to another human being or even murdering them in a violent way? Perhaps looking at these will help, or maybe it will just always remain a mystery to the masses.

Here are 15 of the most disturbing crimes who were committed by children.

Christopher Pittman

Christopher Pittman was only 12 years old and he was convicted for murdering his grandparents in their sleep. The matter of the case is what made it so disturbing. Christopher was thought of as a troubled child and was known for having issues with anger and depression. After making an attempt to run away, he was placed on anti-depressants to help better his behavior.

After having an argument with his grandparents and one earlier at school, Christopher killed his grandfather and grandmother during their sleep.

He then took his dog, the gun, some cash, and set his old house on fire with a candle. He claimed a really big man kidnapped him at first, but confessed to what actually happened later that same day.

Christopher’s defense claimed that he committed his crimes due to the use of his anti-depressant Zoloft. He was still sentenced to 25 years in prison and convicted of murder.
