7. Thelma Wright
Jackie Wright was one of the most known names in the Philadelphia drug game and was also Thelma Wright’s husband. He was found dead with his body rolled up in a rug and with a gunshot to the head in 1986. Thelma became the leader within the family business after his death and began transporting Class A drugs between Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Jackie and Thelma had a son together and in her memoir she wrote, “People are assuming Jackie left me all this money. Nope. I got this child. I can’t lay down and die, so we just resumed business as normal. Made a lot of money. A lot of money.” Claiming she had the ability to make as much as $400,000 a month.
